Itineraries
Day 1
Cebu to Dumaguete
Distance: ~15 km (riding in Dumaguete)
Terrain: Flat coastal roads
Begin your journey with a ferry ride from Cebu to Dumaguete. Once in Dumaguete, take a short warm-up ride along the scenic coastline. Explore landmarks like Silliman University, Rizal Boulevard, and Dumaguete Cathedral. Enjoy dinner at a local seafood restaurant.
Day 2
Dumaguete to Kabankalan
Distance: ~85 km
Terrain: Rolling hills with some moderate climbs
Cycle through scenic rural roads, passing sugarcane fields and small villages. Expect rolling hills, with a few climbs as you approach Kabankalan. Enjoy local specialties for lunch and explore this vibrant town known for its friendly locals.
Day 3
Kabankalan to Sipalay
Distance: ~75 km
Terrain: Mostly flat with a few rolling hills
Pedal south to the coastal town of Sipalay, renowned for its clear waters and stunning beaches. The route offers views of sugar plantations and the coastline as you get closer to Sipalay. End the day with a relaxing sunset by the beach.
Day 4
Sipalay
Activities: ~10 km optional riding
Take a break from cycling and enjoy a boat tour to Danjugan Island Marine Reserve. Spend the day snorkeling, swimming, and relaxing on pristine beaches. You can opt for a short ride to explore nearby villages or simply enjoy the tranquil setting of Sipalay.
Day 5
Sipalay to Bayawan
Distance: ~70 km
Terrain: Gentle rolling hills with scenic flat stretches
Cycle through the countryside toward Bayawan, a peaceful town known for its local charm. Take breaks to enjoy views of lush greenery and stop at a roadside café for fresh coconut juice or local delicacies.
Day 6
Bayawan to Dumaguete (Dauis)
